	OnCourse Edition 3 features a new stylish design, 20-channel SiRFstar III Low Power Chipset for high sensitivity and high performance. Powered by the latest firmware version 3.2.4 (SW Version GSW3.2.4), the OnCourse Edition 3 is fast to acquire a GPS fix and performs well in both navigation in a car or in walking mode. The OnCourse Edition 3 continues the tradition of its predecessors on reliability, solid performance under all conditions (urban canyons, in the mountains, or under dense foliage), and provides faster GPS fix. Software compatibility: The OnCourse Edition 3 is compatible with nearly any GPS mapping software available and fully compatible with NMEA standards (all versions). Hardware compatibility: Works with any Bluetooth enabled devices via Bluetooth Serial Port Profile such as Phones/Smartphone, Pocket PC (PDA), laptop/tablet PC, and MacBook. It has a built-in rechargeable battery with a battery life of about 12 hrs per full charge. Out of the box, OnCourse Edition 3 supports WAAS and EGNOS, with even greater sensitivity and accuracy than ever before. On most occasions is able to obtain a low HDOP value of 0.8 to 1.5. When you first turn on the unit, it would acquire GPS position fix in under 45 seconds on average and then obtaining WAAS / EGNOS automatically with extremely low HDOP value of as low as 0.8 per our test in WAAS. NOTE: WAAS/EGNOS may not available in all areas. Garmin Mobile XT includes access to a wide range of Garmin Online services such as traffic, weather, gas prices, hotel rates and more. Receive real-time traffic information from traffic.com about traffic tie-ups and road construction that lie ahead on your route and navigate around congestion. View hotel rates, ratings and availability information from hotels.com. Even get the weather forecast for your location or anywhere in the world and compare local gas prices when you travel with your phone. Garmin online is accessed through your phone`s wireless data service.

See and Navigate to Users
With Garmin Mobile XT`s PeerPoints feature, you can text message your position to any other phone as well as view and navigate to the location of Garmin Mobile XT users in your group. Simply send your current position via text messaging to your Garmin Mobile XT partner`s phone, and your location shows up on your partner`s map page. PeerPoints is the perfect feature to keep track of friends and family at an amusement park, lake or other outdoor group activity.

Widely Supported
Garmin Mobile XT supports a wide range of smartphones including devices running Windows Mobile, Symbian S60 (2nd and 3rd Editions), and Palm Treos with Bluetooth wireless technology. Garmin Mobile XT requires an embedded GPS or a Bluetooth GPS receiver. For devices without embedded GPS, Garmin Mobile 10 for Smartphones (click here) includes a portable Bluetooth GPS receiver and Garmin Mobile 20 (click here) includes an all-in-one Bluetooth GPS receiver, handsfree kit, smartphone cradle and device charger, with the Garmin Mobile XT application and data preloaded on a memory card.
