	Qstarz BT-Q818 eXtreme Super 51-Channel Bluetooth GPS Receiver comes with the new MTK generation GPS chipset with 51 channels tracking, provides hyper performance to meet the market’s expectation by fastest position fix with its high speed calculating technology. Ultra low power consumption allows you to navigate up to 32 hours which is much longer than SiRF Star III. Furthermore, it combines wireless Bluetooth and wired G-Mouse functions for your convenience plus 1~5Hz adjustable compatibility giving you even higher positioning and accuracy purpose during eXtreme sports. Here are the steps to do so: Install GPS Gate software. Free trial from http://franson.com/gpsgate/download.asp?platform=winxp Install USB Driver using the instruction here: http://www.buygpsnow.com/driver/pdf/Setup_Guide_for_USB_GPS_Receiver.pdf Insert the USB plug into your USB port with the Bluetooth GPS receiver connected, select Input tap in GPS Gate, use the COM Port in step 2 above (refer to the PDF guide for complete details), select either 115000 as baud rate, and click on the "Open" button. Then click on the Output tab, select "Virtual COM port" in the "Add output - to where GPS Data is set section and click on "add". A new virtual COM Port number will be added in the Active output section. If a Virtual COM Port 2 is created, you may now proceed to configure your GPS application to use COM 2 (optional: if promprted for baud rate, select 4800).
